CNC Press Brake Operator - 1st Shift
Leonhardt Manufacturing is seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our first-shift team. If you have experience setting up and operating CNC press brakes, reading blueprints, and producing high-quality parts, we'd like to talk with you.
You'll work with a team committed to quality, safety, and continuous improvement while manufacturing precision components for leading OEM customers across a variety of industries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC press brake machines.
- Read blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders.
- Select and install tooling for a variety of jobs.
- Perform machine setups and make adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency.
- Inspect finished parts using calipers, protractors, height gauges, and other measuring equipment.
- Verify parts meet print specifications and required tolerances.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and keep equipment clean.
- Troubleshoot minor production and machine issues.
- Work with production, engineering, and quality teams to resolve manufacturing challenges.
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.
- Experience setting up and operating CNC press brakes.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Experience using measuring equipment, including calipers.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Basic math skills, including fractions and decimals.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining quality and productivity.
- 3+ years of CNC press brake experience.
- Experience with bend deductions and forming calculations.
- Experience working with steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
- Experience troubleshooting machine setups.
- Manufacturing certifications are a plus.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Frequently lift, move, and handle materials throughout the shift.
- Occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to bend, reach, stoop, and perform repetitive tasks.
