Our client is seeking a General Shop Laborer to join their team. As a General Shop Laborer, you will be part of the production team supporting various assembly operations. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, the ability to follow directions, and a proactive attitude which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: General Shop Laborer
Location: Hanover, PA
Pay Range: $18 to $19
Shift: 1st shift and 2nd shift
15% shift differential on 2nd shift
What's the Job?
- Operate a wide variety of hand and power tools.
- Follow directions to operate machinery, hold or supply materials and tools, and load or unload items on machinery and assembly lines.
- Assist with the assembly of metal fabricated parts on assembly lines.
- Maintain a clean manufacturing area free from debris and dirt, and organize tools as assigned.
- Perform miscellaneous jobs at the plant as needed, including potential forklift operation when required.
What's Needed?
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to listen, understand, and follow directions.
- Responsible handling of materials and equipment.
- Basic arithmetic skills as needed.
- Willingness to work in a variety of roles and adapt to changing tasks.
