Our Mission Hanover Iron Works has been fabricating and erecting customized steel stairways, rails, and other miscellaneous metal components in the Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, and North Carolina commercial markets for more than 60 years.

SUMMARY The Steel Coating and Loading specialist is mainly responsible for assisting the main painter with moving and prepping steel items for Paint. Loading, running, and unloading parts from the Sand Blaster.

Assisting the material handler with staging material and loading trucks.

RESPONSIBILITIESStage and prep steel items for paint.

Operate forklift as needed.

Perform rigging work to move materials as required.

Bring in or remove steel from the shop as needed.

Perform other duties as required to support the fabrication shop.

REQUIREMENTS Experience with overhead cranes is a plus.

Maintain a positive work atmosphere by functioning and communicating in an effective manner with co-workers, clients, and supervisors.

Works in compliance with Kinsley's safety policies and procedures.

Must be flexible to work any schedule needed including overtime and Saturdays as needed.

Basic math skills are required.

Must be able to tolerate hot and cold working environment.

Must be able to stand on feet for up to 10 hours.

Must be organized and can multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
