** About the Role*
* Manpower is hiring a  
** Sanitation Technician
** to support a leading food manufacturing facility in Hanover, PA. This role is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and food‑safe production environment by sanitizing equipment, production lines, and facility areas according to established food safety and plant standards.

This is a  
** hands‑on, physical role
** ideal for individuals who enjoy active work, follow procedures well, and are comfortable in a food‑production environment.

** What You'll Do*
* + Clean and sanitize production equipment, packaging machinery, and facility areas following the Master Sanitation Schedule.

+ Disassemble and reassemble equipment for deep cleaning and inspection.

+ Operate sanitation tools such as power washers, foamers, scrubbers, vacuums, compactors, and lifts.

+ Mix and handle cleaning chemicals safely; follow SDS and plant procedures.

+ Maintain housekeeping standards across production, warehouse, restrooms, offices, and breakrooms.

+ Support allergen control, spill response, waste removal, and recycling.

+ Follow all GMP, SQF, HACCP, PPE, and LOTO safety requirements.

+ Document sanitation tasks, chemical usage, and cleaning verifications.

+ Work independently and as part of a team to meet sanitation schedules.

+ Assist with emergency cleaning, special projects, and overtime as needed.

** What We're Looking For*
* + High School Diploma or GED required.

+ 1 year of sanitation, industrial cleaning, or food manufacturing experience preferred.

+ Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly and work in wet, humid, or variable‑temperature environments.

+ Comfortable working at heights above 15 ft.

+ Ability to stand, walk, bend, and climb for extended periods.

+ Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and overtime.

+ Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety procedures.
