The Registered Nurse (RN) House Supervisor is responsible for monitoring and supervising nursing operations during assigned shifts to ensure the delivery of high-quality resident care. This role provides leadership, clinical oversight, staff supervision, and coordination of resident care services within a long-term care environment.

• Supervise nursing staff and ensure quality resident care throughout the shift.
• Coordinate staffing needs, including managing call-offs and scheduling adjustments.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to support resident care plans.
• Assess, monitor, and evaluate resident conditions and communicate changes appropriately.
• Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation and care plan updates.
• Assist with orientation and training of new nursing personnel.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, and staff.
• Address resident and family concerns and facilitate resolutions.
• Prepare shift reports and ensure effective handoff communication.
• Provide direct patient care as needed.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies, nursing standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Respond to emergencies and serve as the manager-on-duty during evening and night shifts.
• Report significant incidents, concerns, and regulatory matters to leadership promptly.

• Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience.
• Previous supervisory experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing setting preferred.
• Experience with Matrix Care EMR required.
• Strong leadership, communication, delegation, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with geriatric residents.
• Ability to make sound clinical decisions in fast-paced environments.

• Frequent standing and walking throughout the facility.
• Ability to respond quickly in emergency situations.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and assist with resident transfers when necessary.

• Active state RN license required.
• Holiday coverage may be required.
• Experience in Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) and Long Term Care (LTC) settings preferred.
