Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) Opportunity

A rewarding contract opportunity is available for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) skilled in supporting school health services. This position offers a consistent weekday schedule for the  academic year and is ideal for those passionate about delivering care in an educational setting.

Key

Qualifications:

• Current, active LPN or LVN license
• Minimum of one year of experience working in a school environment
• Confident clinical judgment and strong communication skills
• Proven ability to collaborate with school staff and adapt to changing needs

Responsibilities:

• Assist the school nurse with daily health office operations, including minor treatments, medication administration, and maintaining accurate health records
• Support student medical needs, promote overall wellness, and respond to health emergencies as required
• Serve as a substitute for Personal Care Assistant (PCA)/1:1 support staff for two students if coverage is needed, including more direct support for a student with diabetes (primarily assisting the school nurse)
• Work full-time, Monday through Friday, from 8:00am to 3:30pm at Lincoln Elementary
• Foster a safe and healthy environment for students and staff, supporting the school in managing ongoing wellness initiatives
