Excavation Operator

Job Title

Conduct daily work huddles each morning with superintendent and excavation laborers and subcontractor personnel to coordinate and communicate work expectations for the day.

Lay out footing off scheduled stake out.

Excavate form and pour building footings on single family detached, single family attached and multifamily apartments.

Install footer drain tile and stone along foundation to manufacturer's specifications, foundation back fill and installation of footer drains.

Back fill foundations and tamp accordingly.

Install and prep stone beneath slab to grade to allow for concrete.

Excavate all trenches for utilities exterior and interior installed by but not limited to subcontractors in a safe and OSHA approved manner. This will include water, sewer, electric and gas etc.

Excavate and install the roof drain/downspout piping.

Construct and install septic systems.

Construct and install drywell, rain gardens and any subterranean water storage systems.

Requirements:

Must have a valid driver's license.

CDL license preferred.

Must be an insured motorist.

Must possess ASI-56 Certification.

Must be able to travel to the jobsite(s) as assigned.
