Plumbing Technician

Job Description

A Plumbing Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems in various settings. This role involves working independently and in teams, frequently traveling to different locations to ensure systems meet code compliance and operate efficiently. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the technician will contribute to safety adherence and customer satisfaction while managing the maintenance and troubleshooting of plumbing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain piping systems
• Diagnose and repair leaks and plumbing issues
• Perform routine system maintenance and equipment testing
• Ensure all work complies with plumbing codes and safety regulations
• Troubleshoot system malfunctions and implement solutions
• Interact professionally with customers to address concerns and provide updates
• Operate plumbing tools and equipment effectively
• Document all work performed accurately and timely

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in plumbing
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of pipe fitting and reading blueprints
• Familiarity with water supply and drainage systems
• Strong understanding of safety compliance
• Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills
• Physical stamina to handle demanding tasks
