Shift: D Shift | 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM on a rotating AWS schedule (4 days on, 4 days off)
Starting Pay: $22.50/hour + $2.00 Shift Differential
HOW YOU WILL MAKE HISTORY HERE…
As a Material Handler, you will play a critical role in keeping warehouse and production operations running efficiently. You will ensure materials and products are accurately received, stored, moved, and distributed while maintaining a safe, organized, and productive work environment.
WHAT YOU WILL DO…
- Read production schedules, customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, and requisitions to determine materials to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
- Transport materials and products between receiving, storage, and production areas.
- Sort and place materials on racks, shelves, or bins according to established procedures.
- Fill requisitions, work orders, and stock requests and distribute materials to production areas.
- Assemble customer orders and prepare shipments on pallets.
- Mark and identify materials and products accurately.
- Open bales, crates, containers, and other packaging materials.
- Record quantities of materials and products received and distributed.
- Weigh and count items to ensure inventory accuracy and compliance with company standards.
- Operate manual and automated material handling equipment, including forklifts and other powered industrial equipment.
- Load and unload palletized and non-palletized products from trailers.
- Transport and relocate stored materials throughout the warehouse.
- Use computer systems to enter records and maintain inventory information.
- Take photos of incoming and outgoing loads and document shipments as required.
- Participate in cycle counts and inventory activities as assigned.
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and keep aisles and exits clear of obstructions.
- Follow all safety procedures, housekeeping standards, and personal protective equipment requirements.
- Report equipment issues, safety concerns, and workplace injuries promptly.
- Support Continuous Improvement initiatives, including 5S (Sort, Set, Shine, Standardize, Sustain).
- Work overtime as required and perform other duties as assigned.
- Where applicable, climb material tanks, access tank trailers, inspect seals, and collect samples.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE… (MUST HAVE)
- Ability to safely lift, carry, push, and pull materials in a warehouse environment.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, push, pull, and perform repetitive movements throughout the workday.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and recordkeeping.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Strong attention to safety and quality standards.
- Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment.
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend basic instructions, numbers, and documents.
- Willingness to work in a manufacturing and warehouse environment that includes moving equipment, noise, temperature changes, and exposure to warehouse conditions.
- Willingness to work mandatory overtime when required.
IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU HAVE… (NICE TO HAVE)
- High School Diploma or GED.
- At least 1 year of warehouse, manufacturing, or production experience.
- Previous forklift or powered industrial truck operating experience.
- Experience using SAP or a similar Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Inventory control or cycle counting experience.
- Experience loading and unloading trailers in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Physical Requirements
- Frequently sit, stand, walk, drive, climb ladders, and use hands.
- Continuous reaching, pushing, pulling, bending, twisting, and fine motor manipulation.
- Occasionally squat, kneel, climb, and perform overhead work.
