The City of Hapeville is seeking an enthusiastic individual for a part-time role as a Customer Service Representative
.

This is a non-exempt, hourly position.
Rate of pay $16-$20/hour DOE

  • 25-29 hours per week

Key Responsibilities
  • Collects and receives moneys for taxes, sanitation bills, utility services, permit fees, water tap fees, or other services
  • Performs general office and clerical work; answers phones; maintains filing systems; creates and types general correspondence and other office and clerical tasks.
  • Operates a personal computer, or other equipment as necessary to complete essential functions, to include the use word processing, spreadsheet, database, or other system software.

Minimum Qualifications

High School diploma or GED; some college coursework in accounting, finance or related field is preferred; experience in customer service, utility billing, tax collection, accounting or closely related field; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job.
