Overview & Responsibilities
Overview:
Performs duties such as management of tooling, inspections and inputting data into the database. Other duties may include sandblasting, limited lighting and grounds maintenance, general housekeeping, painting, crafting of equipment and material, and other duties as assigned. Requires limited supervision at most times. The below reflects general details considered necessary to describe the principal functions of the job identified and shall not be construed as a detailed description of all of the work requirements that may be inherent in the job.
- Promotes safety and quality at all times.
- Able to work in a team environment.
- Able to work from written and verbal instructions.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Conducts him or herself in a professional manner at all times.
- Maintains logs and records documents as required.
- Maintains inspection reports.
- Maintains tooling and inventory procedures.
- Uses appropriate equipment, tooling, drawings, work scopes, procedures, specifications and documentation to perform the primary functions of the job.
- Ability to accurately measure and record all dimensional inspections needed.
- Advance knowledge of lifting, rigging, crane and forklift operations and ability to obtain certification as needed.
- Actively increasing mechanical aptitude to assist other work disciplines.
- Maintains continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
- Accepts ownership over work performance and works to improve skill set.
- High School Diploma or equivalency 3-5 years of experience in a warehouse environment
