Cashier - Part Time - Ochsner Fitness Center - Elmwood

Overview

This cashier will perform cash handling duties, including operating point‑of‑sale, balancing cash drawer, and reporting customer concerns.

• Takes action towards meeting customer satisfaction goals by greeting customers, patients, and family members warmly.
• Effectively operates cash register using the point of sale system and ensures accurate payment collection.
• Balances a cash drawer accurately.
• Performs non‑cashiering duties during downtime.
• Other related duties as required.

Education:

Preferred – High School diploma or equivalent.

Work Experience:

None required.

Preferred – Clerical skills.

• Strong time management skills and self‑directed.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and be self‑motivated.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to work effectively under stress.

Light Work – physical demands such as moving objects up to 20 pounds occasionally and standing or walking to a significant degree. Environmental risks include exposure to hazardous medications or waste.
