If so, then consider joining the GC Pro sales team who sell business-to-business audio visual solutions to a broad scope of customers.
In this role, you will coordinate the operational and sales process for the GC Professional division, facilitating the order entry through delivery of goods and services to clients for their assigned GC Pro Account Managers to achieve operational and sales goals.
Responsibilities- Provide day-to-day support to Account Managers with regard to product, support materials, and special orders.
- Offer guidance on process and protocol regarding proper order management.
- Answer incoming sales calls and route them to the appropriate GC Pro staff with detailed information.
- Track PO numbers and shipping information, confirming all aspects of the order are entered and processed correctly.
- Locate in-store stock and create layaways.
- File and organize client and vendor purchase orders.
- Coordinate all aspects of a GC Pro order from the time an Account Manager confirms a quote to the delivery of all goods and services to the client.
- Communicate professionally in person and on the telephone with customers, retail store personnel, GC Pro team, and corporate personnel.
- Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
- This position is located 100% onsite in the Guitar Center Retail store.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience, preferably in Store Operations Support, or Sales Support.
- Novice knowledge of musical instruments, audio gear, parts, and nomenclature.
- Intermediate knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and standard business applications.
- Sitting required 80% of the time.
- Walking 10% and standing 10% of the time.
Pay Rate: $21.00 - $25.00/hr depending on background and experience.
