Asset Protection Agent

The Asset Protection (AP) team keeps customers, teams, and brands safe by partnering with the store Emergency Response Team (ERT), responding to emergencies, and reducing shrinkage through investigation and prevention of theft.

• Resolve theft and conduct apprehensions in high shrinkage areas following policy.
• Identify theft trends via technology, reporting, and surveillance.
• Drive shrinkage reduction culture by implementing action plans and protection standards.
• Escalate and support internal theft investigations using reporting and surveillance.
• Investigate internal theft, gather evidence, and partner with AP Leadership and Investigation teams.
• Monitor theft activity using video systems and support investigations.
• Use RFID data to analyze merchandise movement and investigate inaccuracies.
• Maintain safety and security of customers, employees, and store, responding to incidents including medical emergencies.
• Lead security audits, participate in store meetings, and train on shrinkage awareness.
• Serve on ERT and participate in emergency response training including First Aid.
• Submit prompt reports for incidents, recoveries, investigations, violations, and safety incidents.
• Testify in court when summoned for criminal or civil cases.
• Build cross‑functional partnerships with store leaders, neighboring retailers, and local law enforcement.

Elmwood, LA: $22.15 – $23.05 hourly (pay varies by location).
