A growing marine construction team is seeking an experienced Marine Field Manager to oversee piping installation operations supporting marine vessel and shipyard projects.
This role will lead field crews, coordinate manpower and materials, support piping testing and inspections, track project performance, and ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to required standards.
Responsibilities- Coordinate manpower, materials, and equipment
- Oversee day-to-day field execution
- Support hydrostatic and pneumatic testing
- Review project hours and job progress
- Order materials and coordinate vendors
- Track project costs and profitability
- Review drawings for constructability
- Support inspections and field testing
- Conduct safety audits
- Coordinate with clients and project leadership
- Maintain field documentation and timekeeping
- Galvanized piping
- Threaded piping
- Stainless tubing
- Welded pipe
- Pipe and tubing bending
- Small-bore piping through approximately 4-inch pipe
- 5+ years of piping installation experience
- Marine or shipyard experience strongly preferred
- Previous crew supervision experience
- Strong pipe fitting knowledge
- Understanding of pipe welding processes
- Hydrostatic and pneumatic testing experience
- Strong field problem-solving skills
- Experience coordinating labor and materials
- Basic project cost awareness
- Comfortable with client interaction
- Computer proficient
- Word, Excel, Smartsheet, and electronic timekeeping
