Nursery Manager

Location: Crouch End

We are recruiting for an experienced and inspiring Nursery Manager to lead a large, high-quality early years setting in Crouch End. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on, strategic leader who is passionate about delivering outstanding childcare and leading a high-performing team.

You will lead the nursery both operationally and strategically, ensuring the setting consistently delivers exceptional standards of care, education, and customer experience.

👥 Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Culture

* Lead, inspire, and motivate a large multi-room team

* Create a positive, collaborative culture that supports staff wellbeing

* Coach and mentor Deputy Managers, Room Leaders, and senior staff

* Champion inclusion and diversity across the nursery

Quality & Curriculum

* Ensure the EYFS curriculum is embedded across all age groups

* Maintain strong safeguarding, health & safety, and wellbeing practices

* Promote inspiring learning environments and continuous improvement

Operations

* Oversee daily nursery operations and compliance

* Build strong relationships with parents and external professionals

* Support occupancy, staffing, and overall nursery performance

✅ Essential Requirements

* Level 3 Childcare qualification or above (essential)

* Minimum 2 years’ experience working in a childcare / early years setting

* Minimum 2 years’ managerial or leadership experience (Manager or Deputy Manager level)

* Strong knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding, and Ofsted frameworks

* Confident leader with excellent communication and organisational skills

* Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)

* Right to work in the UK
