💼 The Role
Position:
Nursery Deputy Manager

Contract:

Permanent | Full-Time

Hours:

Monday–Friday (8:00–5:00 or 9:00–6:00)
Salary: £16–£17 per hour
You’ll support the Nursery Manager in the day-to-day running of the setting while remaining hands-on with the children — combining leadership, mentoring and childcare expertise.
🌱 What You’ll Be Doing

• Supporting the Manager in the smooth running of the nursery

• Leading staff and acting as a role model within the rooms

• Creating a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment

• Planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities

• Monitoring development and supporting children’s individual needs

• Maintaining records, observations and safeguarding standards

• Communicating effectively with parents and carers

• Supporting staff development and teamwork
👶 What We’re Looking For
✔ Level 3 Childcare qualification (or higher)
✔ Experience in a nursery setting (senior or leadership experience desirable)
✔ Strong knowledge of EYFS and safeguarding practices
✔ Clear Enhanced DBS
✔ Excellent communication & organisational skills
✔ Confident, positive and proactive attitude
✔ Right to work in the UK
