We are currently supporting a specialist wraparound-care provider delivering high-quality after-school provision across primary schools in Haringey. We are seeking a Level 2/3 EYFS qualified practitioner to support Nursery and Reception-aged children within the After-School Club.
The RoleAs a Level 3 EYFS After-School Club Practitioner, you will play a key role in providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for early years children at the end of their school day. You will ensure that activities are age-appropriate, engaging, and aligned with EYFS principles.
Key Responsibilities- Supporting the daily running of the Nursery and Reception After-School Club
- Planning and delivering creative, play-based activities in line with the EYFS framework
- Ensuring the safety, wellbeing, and safeguarding of all children
- Supporting children's social, emotional, and developmental needs
- Maintaining positive relationships with parents, carers, and school staff
- Adhering to safeguarding, health & safety, and setting policies at all times
Hours:
3:00pm - 6:00pm. Flexible, cover-based shifts offered as required.
This opportunity is with a specialist wraparound-care provider delivering engaging, high-quality childcare across primary schools in North London. The team is dedicated to providing a warm, inclusive, and structured environment where children feel secure, valued, and supported.
Requirements- A Level 2/3 qualification in Early Years (EYFS recognised)
- Experience working with Nursery and/or Reception-aged children
- A strong understanding of the EYFS framework
- A proactive, reliable, and enthusiastic approach
- First Aid training (desirable but not essential)
