About the RoleWe are looking for a motivated
Electrical Installation Apprentice to develop the practical skills, technical knowledge and qualifications required to become a fully qualified electrician.
You will gain hands-on experience working alongside experienced electrical professionals while completing a structured Level 3 apprenticeship. The role will provide exposure to electrical installation, testing, maintenance and commissioning across a range of environments.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has already completed a Level 2 Electrical Installation qualification and is looking to progress their career within the electrical and construction sectors.
Important:
This apprenticeship is only open to residents of the London Borough of Haringey.
- Carry out electrical installation, testing, verification and maintenance work under appropriate supervision.
- Work on low-voltage electrical systems, including AC and DC systems.
- Assist with the installation and maintenance of single-phase and three-phase electrical systems.
- Follow the requirements of BS 7671 18th Edition Wiring Regulations and relevant industry standards.
- Assist with inspections, maintenance and condition reporting of existing electrical installations.
- Install wired and wireless electrical solutions.
- Assist with assessing electrical loads and selecting appropriate installation methods.
- Install electrical connections for heating and cooling systems.
- Assist with the installation of mains-powered life safety systems in residential, commercial and industrial environments.
- Follow electrical drawings, specifications and manufacturer instructions.
- Comply with health, safety and environmental requirements.
- Work safely when using electrical tools, equipment and materials.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, clients, contractors and other project stakeholders.
- Attend college, training sessions and site-based learning as required.
- Maintain a professional approach and continue developing technical skills throughout the apprenticeship.
Must live in the London Borough of Haringey.
English and Maths at
GCSE Grade 4 or above
, or Functional Skills Level 2 or above.
