- Seton Medical Center Harker Heights is an 83-bed acute care hospital offering services such as Cardiology, Emergency Services and a Level IV Trauma Designated ER, General Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, Total Joint Replacement, Gastroenterology, Diagnostic Services and more.
- The HVAC Mechanic performs maintenance, repair, and operation of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems within a hospital environment.
- Ensures proper indoor air quality, temperature control, and system functionality to support patient care and facility operations.
- Additionally, follows safety standards, infection control protocols, and regulatory requirements to maintain compliance.
- Supports preventive maintenance programs and responds to service needs in a timely manner.
- Contributes to a safe, efficient, and reliable healthcare environment.
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3+ years’ experience in HVAC maintenance and repair in a commercial or healthcare environment.
- Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Section 608 Certification.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical and mechanical components, and Building Automation Systems (BAS).
Preferred
Job Requirements:
- Technical or vocational training in HVAC or a related field.
- Experience working in a hospital or healthcare environment.
- HVAC Journeyman license or equivalent credential.
