Harlingen. Vermilion Energy Netherlands B.V. is the second‑largest onshore gas producer in the Netherlands and the Dutch operating subsidiary of Vermilion Energy Inc., a publicly traded oil and gas production company listed on the New York Stock Exchange. This internship offers an opportunity to experience the full‑cycle finance function of the Dutch subsidiary and contribute directly to the finance team’s success.

• Support vendor invoice processing and payment preparation.
• Assist with cash management activities and SAP transaction processing.
• Contribute to financial reporting and month‑end close activities.
• Conduct financial analysis to support business decision‑making.
• Participate in real business processes under the guidance of experienced finance professionals.

• Current student studying Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Motivated, curious, and eager to learn and challenge existing processes.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Basic proficiency in Excel and a willingness to learn SAP.

Interns have the opportunity to complete a practical thesis or project focused on areas such as process optimization, cash flow forecasting, account reconciliation improvements, automation opportunities, or the upcoming SAP upgrade project.
