Medical Support Assistant (Advanced)
The incumbent serves as a Medical Support Assistant (Advanced) within an outpatient clinic setting in the Health Administration Service (HAS) of the VA Texas Valley Coastal Bend Health Care Systems. The incumbent's work impacts the administrative aspect of patient care, including access, scheduling/coordinating appointments using advanced clinic access principles, collecting and updating demographic, insurance, managing the Electronic Waiting List, patient processing and customer service.
