Automotive Technician, Automotive Mechanic
We currently have an immediate opening for a car porter/lot tech. We are looking for a motivated, hard‑working person to help with the day‑to‑day operations at our dealership. Primarily, you will be assisting in the process of the inner workings of a dealership: moving cars, washing cars, straightening the lot, and keeping the lot maintained properly and looking great.
Job Responsibilities- Wash, wax, and buff vehicles; dress wheels and tires
- Vacuum interiors and trunks
- Clean all glass components thoroughly
- Inspect and clean engine compartment
- Operate car wash where available
- Follow the quality control checklist, including a list of everything done prior to client pick‑up
- Attend weekly department meetings
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
Education and/or Experience
- Up to six months related experience/training or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred, but not required
- Must be eligible to work in the US and pass pre‑employment screening to include MVR, drug screen, and criminal background check
- Operator's Driver's License (must be insurable)
