Are you passionate about shaping stories that matter? KVEO (NBC/CBS) in Harlingen, TX (DMA 80) is looking for a full-time News Producer who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative newsroom and loves creating compelling content for one of Texas’ fastest-growing markets.

As a News Producer, you’ll be at the heart of our daily newscasts—crafting engaging stories, building dynamic rundowns, and ensuring every show informs and connects with our audience.

Duties/Responsibilities:
* Produce newscasts for broadcast and digital platforms, including CTV
* Write and organize news stories with accuracy and creativity
* Approve scripts and maintain editorial standards
* Balance hard news and features to deliver compelling broadcasts
* Edit video and collaborate with the production team
* Engage viewers on social media and drive audience interaction
* Perform other newsroom duties as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements:

* Bachelor’s degree in journalism or related field (or equivalent experience)
* Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Minimum 2 years of experience in news operations
* Ability to meet deadlines, multitask, and adapt quickly
