Position HighlightsFull-time, Permanent, Hospital Employed Position Practice office is located in the Medical Arts Pavilion, directly connected to the hospital's Cardiac Catheterization Lab Clinic hours:
Monday - Friday Patient volume:
Approximately 25 patients per day in clinic and 10-15 surgical procedures per week

Call responsibilities:
Approximately 3 days per month (shared call pool of 10 cardiology providers)
Cath Lab capabilities: 4 suites with Cardiac, Electrophysiology, and Neurointerventional capabilities

Academic opportunity:
Work with medical students or residents via the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley Research potential:

586 Bed Acute Care Hospital Trauma Level II (ACS Verified)
DNV Comprehensive Stroke Center

EMR - Cerner QualificationsMD or DO with residency and fellowship training in Interventional Cardiology Board Eligible or Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology Organization Information:Well established & leading provider in the Rio Grande Valley
