About the Position
Join Our Team as a Pathologist – Anatomic and Clinical

Are you a dedicated and highly skilled Pathologist ready to make a difference in patient care? We are seeking a qualified professional to join our dynamic pathology department. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to work in a reputable healthcare environment, applying your expertise to advancing diagnostic excellence.

In this position, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive anatomic and clinical pathology services, with a specialized focus on gynecologic and surgical pathology. Your insights will be instrumental in guiding patient treatment plans and enhancing diagnostic accuracy. The role involves hospital hours Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with on-call responsibilities during evenings, weekends, and holidays, ensuring continuous support and coverage.

Required Skills:

Board certification in Pathology

Proven expertise in both anatomic and clinical pathology

Strong knowledge and experience in gynecologic and surgical pathology

Excellent diagnostic and analytical skills

Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team

Effective communication skills for report writing and consultations

Nice to Have

Skills:

Additional subspecialty certifications or training in gynecologic pathology

Experience with digital pathology or laboratory information systems

Prior work in a hospital or academic setting

Ability to handle high-volume case loads efficiently

Preferred

Education and Experience:

MD or DO degree with pathology certification

Minimum of 3 years of post-certification experience in a clinical setting specializing in gynecologic/surgical pathology

Other Requirements:

Valid medical license to practice in the state (or eligibility to obtain one)

Willingness to participate in on-call duties as required

Commitment to maintaining professional development and certification standards

Position offers an hourly pay rate of $1.00.
