Job Pool for all individuals interested in applying for Classroom Paraprofessionals at any level, Elementary, Middle School, or High School. Individuals can apply here for current and/or anticipated Paraprofessional vacancies. Principals will screen applications in this job posting when vacancies develop at their campuses.
PRIMARY PURPOSEAssist the teacher in the preparation and management of classroom activities and administrative requirements. Work under the supervision of a certified teacher. Emphasis will be on critical skills in core subject areas.
QUALIFICATIONS Education/Certification- High School Diploma/GED
- An Associate's Degree or higher, or the equivalent of at least 48 semester credit hours from an accredited college or university
- Educational Aide Certificate or Bachelor's Degree
- Ability to work well with children
- Knowledge of general office equipment
- One year experience in working in an educational environment preferred.
