QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Certification:
* Bachelor's degree from accredited university
* Valid Texas Teacher certificate in Special Education/content certificate for certain assignments or eligible for employment through an Alternative Certification Program (ACP).
* Eligible ACP candidates must also meet ACP requirements and pass TExES examination(s) required for this position.
* Demonstrated competency in the academic subject area assigned
Special Knowledge/
Skills:
* Knowledge of special needs of students in assigned area
* Knowledge of Admission, Review, and Dismissal Committee
* Process and IEP goal setting process and implementation
* General knowledge of curriculum and instruction
Calendar: 187 work days
