Physical Education Teacher​/Head Softball Coach - HHS

Job Title

Provide instruction and coach students to develop the skill and ability to excel in the sport assigned. Responsible for contributing to the educational program as a whole and to the growth of each student.

Education/Certification:

Bachelor's Degree and Valid Texas Teacher Certificate. All Physical Education Certified teachers or individuals eligible for Physical Education certification through an Alternative Certification Program (ACP) can apply here. Eligible ACP candidates must meet certification requirements. Demonstrated competency in the academic subject area assigned.

• Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
• General knowledge of coaching techniques and procedures
• Knowledge of University Interscholastic League (UIL) rules
