Special Education Evaluation Process
Implement the special education evaluation process. Evaluate the educational, learning styles, and program needs of students referred for special education services. Provide diagnostic information and work cooperatively with instructional personnel to provide the most appropriate programs for students with disabilities.
QualificationsEducation/Certification/Licensure:
Master's degree Valid Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologists License as Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) or Licensed Specialist in School Psychology Intern or Trainee. Special Knowledge/
Skills:
Knowledge of diagnostic procedures, education of special education students, human development, and learning theories Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills Bilingual preferred
Experience:
Three years of teaching experience, preferred
Calendar: 197 Work Days. Salary:
Minimum - $62,029
