Job Overview

We are seeking a Grant Administrator to manage all aspects of TSTC’s grant program, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and college requirements and delivering program objectives.

Responsibilities
  • Plan, implement, and manage grant activities from recruitment to completion.
  • Maintain fiscal accountability, monitor budget, and reconcile expenditures.
  • Collect, enter, and analyze data to evaluate program performance and student progress.
  • Prepare and submit required reports to the TSTC Office of Sponsored Programs and the U.S. Department of Education.
  • Review and approve curriculum and student session activities, including enrichment trips, service‑learning projects, and cultural excursions.
  • Provide day‑to‑day program support to the grant’s target population, including direct services and conflict resolution.
  • Coordinate with school districts, counselors, teachers, industry partners, and agencies to promote the program.
  • Lead and supervise staff, conduct meetings, coach, and evaluate project staff.
  • Travel locally, statewide, and nationally for professional development, participant support trips, and public relations engagements.
  • Represent the Grant Program at local, state, and national organizations.
Qualifications
  • Master’s Degree from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum 2 to 3 years experience in TRIO/migrant student services or similar support programs.
  • Professional experience in an education‑related field.
  • Knowledge of federal grant programs and operations.
  • Managerial skills in budget planning.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish; excellent written and oral communication.
  • Demonstrated ability to overcome barriers for disadvantaged students.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Creative thinker who proposes solutions and best practices.
Compensation

Salary range: $49,084.31 – $53,992.74 USD annually, based on qualifications and experience.
