BIM Designer – Harlingen, Texas
The Building Information Modeling (BIM) Designer at Garver’s Water Design Center develops and details Revit 3D models for water and wastewater treatment plant projects.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop 3D BIM Revit models autonomously.
- Process point cloud data, create plans, sections, and details in Revit, and produce construction drawings.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of technicians and designers—including process, structural, mechanical, and electrical disciplines.
- Arrange file sharing and communication resources to share design files across the company, clients, sub‑consultants, and contractors.
- Maintain communication with engineers and project managers to ensure timely delivery and avoid project conflicts.
- Ensure quality program compliance, including QA/QC to meet company standards.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Revit and BIM modeling for water and wastewater projects.
- Experience with point cloud data processing and construction documentation.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage workload within the Water Design Center.
