Job Purpose:
The Front Desk Night Audit/Shuttle Houseman at BC LYND HOSPITALITY LLC is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel during overnight hours. This role involves conducting night audits to balance daily financial transactions and providing shuttle services to guests, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction. Additionally, the position includes assisting with the setup, maintenance, and cleaning of all meeting and banquet spaces, as well as the hotel and lobby areas.
To accomplish this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform, with or without reasonable accommodation, each essential duty and function satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to help enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct nightly audits of all financial transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with hotel policies.
Prepare and distribute daily reports summarizing revenue and occupancy statistics.
Provide exceptional customer service to guests checking in or out during overnight hours.
Operate the hotel shuttle service, safely transporting guests to and from designated locations.
Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a timely and professional manner.
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the hotel, front desk and shuttle areas.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
Assist in emergency situations, following hotel protocols to ensure guest safety.
Perform additional duties as assigned by management to support hotel operations.
Required
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Required Experience:
Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality environment preferred.
Experience with front desk operations and night audit procedures is advantageous.
Familiarity with shuttle services and guest transportation is a plus.
Required
Skills and Abilities:
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with guests.
Proficiency in using hotel management software and systems.
Ability to handle financial transactions and perform accurate audits.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, especially during night shifts.
