Child Nutrition Department Part-Time Position
This is a general job posting where individuals interested in working in our Child Nutrition Department can apply. This job posting remains open year-round. The district creates a job applicant pool for these positions. When vacancies develop, applications in this pool will be screened and interviews will be set up by invitation only.
Primary
Purpose:
Responsible for the highest standards of sanitation and organization in the kitchen and surrounding areas while working safely and assisting as needed in food preparation. This is a part-time position and there is no guarantee of hours. Full-time positions are filled by active HCISD child nutrition substitutes.
Qualifications:
Ability to follow, read and understand verbal and written instructions for food preparation and safety procedures.
Required:
Background (police) check will be conducted.
Calendar:
On an as needed basis; must be flexible.
