Position: Hallmark Field Merchandiser Floater (part-time) Harlingen, TX 78552

Job Overview

As a Field Merchandiser Floater you'll have the opportunity to work independently to showcase your organization and time management skills, the ability to establish retailer relationships, while being the face of Hallmark.

You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement, maintain inventory levels, and support fellow team members with seasonal resets and installations as needed.

On occasion you may work with other products from other companies in the stores that you service.

Salary & Schedule Details
  • Your starting hourly pay rate will be $12.00-$14.00 per hour depending on your skills and experience.
  • We provide paid training, delivered through live, hands‑on instruction as well as virtual classroom training.
  • Hallmark part‑time employees are offered voluntary benefits that include medical, dental, vision, and other coverage options.
  • Eligible employees receive annual pay increases.
  • This is a part‑time position with a variable schedule during the work week.
  • Average weekly hours are between 10 and 15 hours.
  • Availability during the week before and after major holidays, which may include weekends, is required.
  • Availability to support seasonal changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory support.
Your Role and Responsibilities
  • Day‑to‑day engagement:
    Using a mobile device provided by Hallmark, you restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark products. You use technology to communicate with your supervisor, report time, provide feedback, and complete required surveys. Professional and courteous interaction with store employees, management, and customers is vital.
  • Holiday support:
    Hallmark’s operations revolve around seasonal demand. Leading up to and following holidays such as Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas, you may experience additional days and extended hours. On holidays such as Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, and Father’s Day you may be required to work on the holiday itself, which may include weekends.
  • Department resets:
    At times you may be part of a team responsible for installing fixtures, relocating card departments and products, and resetting card sections. You are typically notified two weeks in advance for remodel assignments, which may include evenings or weekends.
  • Team support:
    You are part of Hallmark’s field organization and often support other team members as needed in their territories.
Physical Requirements

This is a physically demanding job that requires a high level of energy and a sense of urgency. You will work on the selling floor and in back stockrooms. You must be able to consistently push, pull, lift, and carry cartons, merchandise, and display fixtures up to 30 pounds throughout the day and up to 50 pounds on occasion. You will also kneel, squat, walk, and stand throughout your workday, and may be required to climb stairs and step ladders.

Qualifications
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English.
  • Ability to grasp, pull, lift, and carry products up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Ability to operate a digital hand‑held device to open and read documents and interpret information.
  • Access to a Wi‑Fi network and the internet.
  • Access to consistent transportation to travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled.
