Job Type: Full‑Time, 1.0 FTE

FLSA Status: Exempt

Supervises the day‑to‑day operations in assigned parking and transportation areas, ensuring efficient service for University employees, students and visitors.

• Oversee daily parking and transportation functions.
• Serve as the primary contact for employees, students and visitors regarding parking regulations and related inquiries.
• Collaborate with the assigned supervisor to complete departmental projects.
• Ensure adequate staffing and operational coverage during scheduled hours.
• Plan and coordinate logistics in parking areas and transit routes to maintain efficiency.
• Monitors on‑time performance and ensures schedule adherence.
• Maintain technology and equipment functioning; coordinate necessary repairs.
• Collect, analyze, and report operational data to support decision making.
• Prepare and submit timely reports.
• Assist in recruiting, training and supervising assigned staff.
• Operate university vehicles as needed to maintain service levels.
• Issue parking permits and citations in accordance with University regulations.
• Respond promptly to accidents and incidents, coordinating with appropriate departments and agencies.
• Recommend operational improvements to maintain departmental efficiency.
• Enforce parking regulations across all university lots and locations.
• Maintain knowledge of all university bus routes and services, ensuring compliance with riding rules and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent (College degree in business administration or related field preferred).

Licensure/Certification: Must be authorized to operate a University‑Owned Vehicle; subject to a 36‑month motor vehicle record check.

Experience: Three (3) years of related experience, including supervisory experience in parking and/or transportation operations. Preferably supervisory experience in a higher‑education institution’s parking or transportation department.

Skills: Strong verbal and written communication, customer service, organizational and clerical skills; ability to supervise a department.

Some travel, evening and weekend work required. Field work on the road with occasional office work. May encounter hazardous, noisy and busy conditions.| Exerts up to 50 lbs of force occasionally, 20 lbs frequently and 10 lbs constantly. Pre‑employment physical, motor vehicle record check, criminal background and drug/alcohol random exams required. Safe‑sensitive position under FTA rules.
