ResponsibilitiesAs a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, you will examine patients, diagnose injuries and illnesses, and provide treatment to H‑E‑B Partners and their families, ensuring the highest quality patient‑centered care. You will work with an integrated team of healthcare providers, focusing on complex chronic care patients with the goal of improving patient health outcomes. You will also support clinic operations by providing patient care for other routine and acute care visits.

- A master’s degree in advanced practice nursing from an accredited program; 3+ years of experience.
- Current, valid State of Texas RN & APRN licenses; current, unrestricted DEA.
- Advanced interpersonal and counseling skills; ability to work as part of an integrated healthcare team to provide an exceptional patient experience.
- A graduate degree from an accredited PA Program; 3+ years of experience.
- Board Certification by the NCCPA; current, unrestricted license to practice in Texas.
- Current, unrestricted DEA.
- Advanced interpersonal and counseling skills; ability to work as part of an integrated healthcare team to provide an exceptional patient experience.
- Interview patients; take medical histories; assess patient health; perform physical examinations; administer injections/immunizations; perform suturing, splinting, casting; manage wounds and infections.
- Instruct/counsel patients; explain treatments and medications; counsel and promote emotional and physical health and wellness.
- Obtain/study medical histories; document patient and clinic records.
- Administer/orders diagnostic tests; interpret results; make diagnoses; prescribe medications and other treatments.
- Identify short‑ and long‑range patient care issues; recommend courses of action; implement physician directives.
- Provide/ensure continuity of care; develop and implement patient care management plans.
- Comply with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements, and infection control protocols and policies.
- Develop healthcare team staff; provide training and educational/growth opportunities.
- Maintain professional/technical knowledge; review professional journals; establish personal network; participate in educational workshops and professional associations.
- Collaborate with clinic staff to recommend and improve patient care practices, clinic guidelines, and workflow.
- Ensure adherence to HIPAA regulations.
- Master’s degree in advanced practice nursing from an accredited program.
- 3+ years of health care experience.
- Current valid RN License.
- Current, unrestricted State of Texas APRN license.
- Current, unrestricted DEA.
- AHA BLS Healthcare Provider or AHA BLS Instructor Provider card.
- Graduate degree from an accredited PA Program.
- 3+ years of health care experience.
- Board Certification by the NCCPA.
- Current, unrestricted license to practice in Texas.
- Current, unrestricted DEA.
- Current BLS certification by an approved American Heart Association organization.
- Advanced interpersonal and counseling skills.
- Advanced verbal/written/listening communication skills.
- Strong deductive/inductive reasoning and observation skills.
- People‑ and time‑management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and shift focus between tasks; adaptability; flexibility.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.

- Function in a fast‑paced clinic/office environment.
- Sit/stand/stoop for extended periods.
- Regularly lift up to 20 lbs.
- Work extended hours and/or rotating schedules.
- Maintain required annual continuing medical education.
