RN - Med/Surg

Harlingen, TX

Contract | Days | Onsite

• Assess, plan, and implement direct clinical care for assigned patients on a per-shift basis
• Supervise staff to whom appropriate patient care tasks have been delegated
• Support nursing leadership in ensuring high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care delivery
• Monitor and manage resources related to patient care at the unit level
• Ensure competency of clinical staff through ongoing oversight and support

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Experience in a Medical-Surgical nursing setting
• Demonstrated ability to assess and manage patient care needs across a shift
• Ability to delegate and supervise clinical staff appropriately

• Experience supporting nursing leadership or charge nurse responsibilities
• Familiarity with resource management practices in an acute care environment
