Wellsential Health is currently seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) – RN to support Windsor Atrium

• Assist the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, and directing daily nursing operations in compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations.
• Promote continuity of care by coordinating nursing services with interdisciplinary teams, physicians, residents, and families.
• Assess staffing needs; participate in recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and training nursing staff to ensure appropriate coverage across all shifts.
• Develop staff schedules and assignments; monitor performance to ensure safe, effective, and compassionate care delivery.
• Support daily facility start‑up and assist with the implementation and monitoring of the nursing department’s Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) program.
• Serve on the Quality Assurance Committee and other interdisciplinary teams to drive clinical excellence and regulatory readiness.
• Assist in reviewing clinical records, audits, and consultant reports; help develop and implement corrective action plans.
• Provide support with MDS assessments, care planning, and clinical documentation as needed.
• Review compliance reports and ensure nursing services consistently meet regulatory and accreditation standards.
• Participate in the facility’s on‑call rotation and perform additional duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing or Administrator.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a skilled nursing facility (SNF).
• Completed an LVN program at an accredited vocational school or college.
• Active License Vocation Nurse in the state of Texas in good standing.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
