This position may qualify for a sign‑on bonus. This role provides direct clinical patient care. The RN will assess, plan, and implement direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per‑shift basis and at unit level. The RN will supervise staff to whom appropriate care is delegated and support the CNO to ensure high quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care, competency of clinical staff, and appropriate resource management related to patient care.

The RN provides high‑quality, safe, cost‑effective, total nursing care to all patients. The RN assumes responsibility for overall coordination and integration of patient care based on the nursing process. The RN directs care according to established standards of safety, risk management, QI, and infection control, with the goal of discharging the patient at an optimum level of care. Responsibilities include coordination and planning of patient care within the prescribed medical regime, medication administration safely and timely per hospital policy, and performing all HICS (hospital incident command system) responsibilities, assignments, tasks, and roles during emergencies or disasters.

The RN must know the hospital’s emergency codes and adhere to policies and procedures for each code.

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing (preferred).
• Recent acute care experience (preferred).

• AHA BLS (required).
• ACLS, PALS, NRP (if applicable by corporate policy for unit of hire).
