Job SummaryThis position may qualify for a sign‑on bonus. The role provides direct clinical patient care and will assess, plan, and implement care for assigned patients on each shift. The RN will collaborate with unit staff, supervise delegated tasks, and support the Chief Nursing Officer to ensure high quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care, competency of clinical staff, and appropriate resource management.
Responsibilities- Provide high‑quality, safe, cost‑effective total nursing care to all patients.
- Coordinate and integrate patient care based on the nursing process.
- Direct care according to established standards of safety, risk management, quality improvement, and infection control, aiming for optimal discharge outcomes.
- Plan and coordinate patient care within the prescribed medical regime.
- Administer all medications safely and in a timely manner per hospital policy.
- Perform and fulfill all HICS responsibilities, assignments, tasks, and roles during emergencies and disasters.
- Know the Hospital’s emergency codes and adhere to policies and procedures for each code.
- Required:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. - Preferred:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nursing.
- Preferred:
Recent acute care experience.
- Required:
Current license, certification, or registration as required by law or state regulation; AHA BLS, and, if applicable, AHA ACLS and/or PALS and/or NRP.
