Job Summary
Join a leading Neuroscience program known for its exceptional patient care and strong community reputation. We are seeking a Registered Nurse Practitioner (RNP) to provide support in an outpatient clinic setting with inpatient rounding as needed.
Position DetailsSchedule:
Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.
Team: 3 qualified Physicians and 1 Advanced Practice Provider (APP).
All levels of experience welcome; prior Neuro experience is a plus.
Qualifications- Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner.
- License to practice in the state of employment.
- CPR certified.
- DEA registration with the state.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, multidisciplinary team.
- Strong communication skills and commitment to high‑quality patient care.
Under the direction of a physician, the RNP provides direct patient care, including:
- Gathering detailed history and performing physical examinations.
- Ordering, performing, and interpreting diagnostic tests and laboratory studies.
- Administering therapeutic procedures and providing clinical education to patients.
- Maintaining accurate manual and electronic records (EMR) and written charts.
- Participating in quality improvement, utilization review, and safety committee activities.
- Meeting compliance requirements and reporting issues in a timely manner.
- Assisting with physician‑assistant services and other duties as assigned.
Master's degree in Advanced Practice Nursing, Nurse Practitioner program.
ExperienceAny level is acceptable; prior neuro‑related experience is preferred.
CertificationsMust be currently licensed, certified, or registered to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in the state. Additional certifications as required by governing boards and facility medical staff bylaws are preferred.
