Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) Circulator
We are seeking a skilled Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) Circulator to join our surgical team. The ideal candidate will have extensive perioperative experience and be responsible for providing comprehensive patient care during surgical procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and oversee all aspects of patient care in the surgical environment.
- Assist in preoperative patient assessments and preparations.
- Ensure all surgical instruments and supplies are sterile and prepared.
- Maintain a sterile field and monitor patient safety throughout procedures.
- Collaborate with surgeons and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Comply with all hospital policies, safety protocols, and documentation standards.
Qualifications:
- Hold a current and valid state RN license.
- Possess a current BLS (AHA) certification and maintain current status.
- Obtain ACLS (AHA) certification within 30 days of hire and maintain current status.
- Obtain PALS (AHA) certification within 30 days of hire and maintain current status.
- Have a minimum of two years' perioperative nursing experience in the OR setting.
- Certification as a Certified Nurse OR (CNOR) preferred; BSN preferred.
