Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol officer at a busy retail location, where you will conduct routine mobile and foot patrols, remain visible to help reduce security-related concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to customers, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and/or local responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, unsecured access points, and/or conditions that may require attention.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help support loss prevention efforts, assist with access control, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or trespassing concerns.
• Carry and maintain authorized armed post equipment in accordance with post orders, licensing requirements, and Allied Universal standards, using sound judgment during security-related responses.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A Level III Armed Certification is required in Texas only.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
