Job Description
Join our team as a Delivery Driver in Harlingen! We're looking for a reliable and efficient individual to ensure timely and accurate delivery of packages to our valued customers. As a key member of our logistics team, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining customer satisfaction and upholding our company's reputation for excellence.
* Safely operate your own delivery vehicle to transport packages to designated locations
* Load and unload packages from delivery vehicle, ensuring proper handling and organization
* Use navigation tools and local knowledge to plan efficient delivery routes
* Verify delivery information and obtain necessary signatures upon package delivery
* Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
* Conduct regular vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues
* Provide excellent customer service, addressing any inquiries or concerns professionally
* Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies
* Assist with additional tasks as assigned by management
Qualifications
* Must be 18 years of age or older.
* Must have a valid Drivers License with 2 years of driving experience if 18, and 1 if 19.
* Previous delivery or driving experience preferred
* Excellent time management and navigation skills
* Strong customer service orientation
* Detail-oriented with basic math skills for package counting and invoice verification
* Physical ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 pounds
* Proficiency in using GPS and mobile delivery applications
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed
* Knowledge of local traffic patterns and road systems in Harlingen and surrounding areas
