We have a stylish and cosy restaurant, a relaxed and informal bar area with a roaring log fire for the colder months, and our lovely terrace garden at the back. We’re what you might call a ‘proper pub’ serving a selection of real ales and craft beers, alongside an extensive wine, gin and spirit list.

Position We’re currently looking to recruit a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team as a housekeeper and cleaner at our pub, restaurant, and hotel. This is a key role in ensuring our rooms, public areas, and facilities are kept spotless, welcoming, and up to the high standards our guests expect. Requirements Ideal applicants will bring the following strengths to the role:
Attention to detail:
Ensure all guest rooms, public areas, and facilities are cleaned to a high standard. Reliability and punctuality:
Consistently show up on time and complete tasks within scheduled shifts. Physical stamina:
Able to carry out manual tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, lifting linen bags, and making beds. Discretion and professionalism:
Respect guest privacy and maintain a friendly, courteous manner at all times. Teamwork:
Work well with other staff members, including front of house and kitchen teams, to ensure smooth operations. Flexibility:
Willingness to work weekends, early mornings, or evenings as needed.
