Job Description

Oversee day‑to‑day operations at an individual Grain Facility. Operations include safety, environmental, employee retention, meeting operational goals, receiving and keeping grain to quality standards, loading grain for sales, customer service, and communication with support departments.

Schedule

The typical schedule is 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday
, with peak harvest season requiring 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM shifts, 6–7 days per week
, depending on harvest needs.

Duties & Responsibilities

Oversee day‑to‑day operations at an individual Grain Facility, provide proper direction and support.

Safety/Environmental/Regulatory Compliance – provide direct support to meet certifications (i.e. Lock‑out, Tag‑Out and Forklift). Ensure certifications don’t lapse.

Assist the Grain Facility Manager in executing projects.

Operations and Quality – receive and keep grain to quality standards.

People Management – increase retention by providing direction and support to achieve goals. Ensure all tools are in place for success at the job.

Qualifications

College preferred, high school diploma minimum.
1–3 years experience.
Evidence of skill in leading people, customer service, and comprehension of complex processes; ability to quickly learn and then teach new things; evidence of mechanical aptitude and financial understanding; solid math, written, and verbal skills; competent in relevant computer programs.
Must be able to climb up to 150 feet. #LI-SA1
