We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our corporate clinical team as a Corporate MDS Coordinator, supporting MDS processes across our organization.

This is a full-time, in-person position based in Harrisburg, Illinois, working under the direction of the Director of Clinical Reimbursement. This is an excellent opportunity for a nurse who enjoys collaboration, problem-solving, and supporting multiple facilities while advancing their career at the corporate level.

Compensation RN: $35.00–$37.00/hour (Based on Experience)
LPN: $30.00–$32.00/hour (Based on Experience)$15,000 Sign-On Bonus (Paid over 1 year)

Position Overview The Corporate MDS Coordinator supports the accuracy, compliance, and timeliness of MDS assessments across multiple skilled nursing facilities. This role partners closely with facility MDS Coordinators, Directors of Nursing, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure proper documentation, regulatory compliance, and optimal reimbursement outcomes.

This position is ideal for a nurse who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-site environment and enjoys improving systems, supporting staff, and driving clinical excellence across an organization.

Key Responsibilities Provide support and guidance to facility MDS Coordinators across 19 skilled nursing facilities

Assist with review, completion, and submission of MDS assessments

Monitor compliance with federal and state regulations related to MDS processes

Support accurate documentation and reimbursement optimization

Collaborate with corporate and facility leadership teams

Manage multiple deadlines and facility priorities effectively

Support quality outcomes and consistent clinical standards across the organization

Travel periodically to WLC-owned and operated facilities as needed

Qualifications

Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license required

Previous MDS experience in skilled nursing preferred

Strong knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and reimbursement systems preferred

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to manage multiple facilities and competing priorities

Strong communication and collaboration skills

Proficiency with electronic health record systems (training provided)
Willingness to travel periodically as needed

Requirements

Must be able to commute to Harrisburg, IL 62946 (required)
Must be willing to relocate prior to start date if applicable

Periodic travel to WLC-owned and operated facilities required
