Saline Care Nursing & Rehabilitation is seeking an experienced and motivated Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our nursing department and help drive clinical excellence throughout our facility.

We're looking for a confident RN leader who knows how to develop a strong nursing team, maintain quality clinical outcomes, and create a culture of accountability, teamwork, and exceptional resident care.

Compensation

$95,000–$105,000/year, based on experience

Your Role as Director of Nursing

As DON, you'll take an active leadership role in the clinical success of the facility while supporting and developing the nursing team.

  • Lead and oversee daily nursing department operations
  • Mentor, develop, and support nursing team members
  • Promote high standards of resident care and clinical outcomes
  • Oversee nursing staffing and scheduling
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal long-term care regulations
  • Maintain and strengthen nursing policies, procedures, and clinical practices
  • Monitor quality assurance initiatives and implement improvement plans
  • Collaborate with physicians, residents, families, and the interdisciplinary care team
  • Identify opportunities to improve clinical and operational performance
  • Work closely with facility leadership to support overall facility success
What We’re Looking For
  • Current Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
  • Previous nursing leadership or management experience
  • Director of Nursing experience preferred
  • Long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred
