This position requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Your Leadership Can Shape an Entire Nursing TeamSaline Care Nursing & Rehabilitation is seeking an experienced and motivated Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our nursing department and help drive clinical excellence throughout our facility.
We're looking for a confident RN leader who knows how to develop a strong nursing team, maintain quality clinical outcomes, and create a culture of accountability, teamwork, and exceptional resident care.
Compensation$95,000–$105,000/year, based on experience

As DON, you'll take an active leadership role in the clinical success of the facility while supporting and developing the nursing team.
- Lead and oversee daily nursing department operations
- Mentor, develop, and support nursing team members
- Promote high standards of resident care and clinical outcomes
- Oversee nursing staffing and scheduling
- Ensure compliance with state and federal long-term care regulations
- Maintain and strengthen nursing policies, procedures, and clinical practices
- Monitor quality assurance initiatives and implement improvement plans
- Collaborate with physicians, residents, families, and the interdisciplinary care team
- Identify opportunities to improve clinical and operational performance
- Work closely with facility leadership to support overall facility success
- Current Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Previous nursing leadership or management experience
- Director of Nursing experience preferred
- Long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred
