Front Desk Representative
Allegheny East Conference is seeking a Front-Desk Receptionist to serve as the vital first point of contact for our office. In this role, you will be the face and voice of our organization, providing exceptional hospitality to visitors. The ideal candidate is a disciplined multitasker who brings warmth and efficiency to every interaction.
Key Responsibilities- Welcome visitors by greeting them in person or via telephone
- Answers inquiries or directs callers to the appropriate party
- Notifies conference personnel of visitor arrival and directs the visitor appropriately
- Maintains current resources and information to respond to visitors’ and constituents’ concerns accurately.
- Keeps security protocol: monitors the logbook, issues visitor badges, and informs office personnel of guests.
- Coordinates the pickup and delivery of express mail service; prepares outgoing mail for delivery to the Post Office daily.
- Receives incoming mail and packages for distribution daily.
- Maintains inventory of local church tithe envelopes and mail supplies.
- Fills local church requests for Treasury materials.
- Helps with other Treasury clerical duties as assigned by the VP for Finance/CFO.
- Must be a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in regular standing.
- Excellent telephone and empathetic listening skills
- strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize work.
- Demonstrated ability in operating office equipment and technology such as computers, printers/scanners, postal mail machines
- Ability to use computer software such as the MS Office suite and Google Workspace. Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and complete assigned work without direct guidance. Punctual.
High school diploma or equivalent.
EXPERIENCETwo years of relevant experience in an office environment. Applications must be received by April 30, 2026.
